Happy Saturday to all. Our spring weather has turned cold again, but since I can stay inside, it isn't too bad! I hope where you are if it is cold, that you are staying warm too. But we sure had a few nice days of warmer weather and one day it hit 60 degrees. Wow! So things look a bit more promising that Spring is right around the corner.
Today I found this cute little tag pocket that someone gave me a long time ago and I thought it was perfect for this card. Since it has a tag on it, guess I will enter it in the Mod Squad Blog Challenge for this week which calls for tags.
And a few weeks ago I purchased this cute set from Whimsy Stamps called Alvin & Julie which is illustrated by Sandy Allnock. I love the cute little girl and her kitty and she has some cool sentiments to go with it. Also her kitty prints worked great on the outside of the tag.
Not sure if you know this, but Sandy started up the great idea of sending cards to military personnel so that they could in return send cards to their family and friends. This organization is called Operation Write Home. I am so honored to be able to participate in this, even if on a limited capacity. Our troops need any and all support that they can get and this is one way I can help them get through their deployment.
I used Gina K. Designs Powder Blue and Black card stock and the pattern paper is from Die Cuts With a View. I colored the image with Copic markers. To finish the tag I added black ribbon and also added a few black pearls to the corners.
Thanks for stopping by to view my latest creation.
God bless, Verna

What a sweet image - love the little pocket and tag
Very cute card. I see you got into using copics. Sure wish I could afford them, but I've spent too much money on Spellbinders. LOL SMS sells them at a great price. Hope it warms up for you soon. It looks and feels like spring here.
Cute card with the pocket Verna
That is a darling image and you colored it in a way that enhances its charm. I love kitty cats and kids :) The pocket with tag and paw prints is precious. Well done Verna ♥
FANTASTIC! The entire card is lovely, but what I really LOVE is that your tag is in a cute little pocket! Clever! I am also loving those sweet paw prints on the pocket. Thanks so much for playing, again, in the Challenge I am hosting at the Mod Squad Blog!

Wonderful design Verna! Love it! Thanks so much for playing along with us at the Mod Squad Challenge Blog this week!
This is just the perfect card for the MS Challenge. Such a sweet little girl and her kitty, which, by the way, happens to look like my cat! Love the blue and black together, and the tag in the envelope is super cool. Don't know who will get this card, but she is gonna love it.
Great job Verna and yes I have sent cards to Operation Write a Home... Sandy is a hoot and such a sweetheart! A great cause for sure!!!
Too adorable, Verna! LOVE that sweet image. And what a clever idea to add the tag!
