Over the years I have been a fan of Impression Obsession dies and stamps but did not own very many and so today I am using all products from that line. I went with pastel colors for this card too. I thought it would be more fitting for Spring and Easter.
The first thing I did was to make a background design for the card using the Impression Obsession CC208 Flower Burst Cover a Card stamp. I stamped it with Versamark and then added some white embossing powder and heat set it. The next step was to take my craft brushes and color in the design. I used yellow for the centers of the flowers and then added blue around the bursts. Once I had my color applied I took a paper towel and wiped off the excess inks and that allowed the bursts to show up better.
Next I die cut the Impression Obsession DIE664-T Bunny Border from white card stock leaving about a half an inch border along the bottom so that I could color it and add some grass by flicking my Copic marker. I also took a pink Copic and colored the center part of the ears.
The last step was to take the Impression Obsession DIE257-D Easter Joy which I used to cut the sentiment with the same pink card stock that I used for the card base. I also took my white paint pen and added some white to the pink sentiment to sort of accent it. I am not sure that was a good idea or not but the deed is done so that is the way it will be. The card was finally finished when I added a white sheet inside so that I could write a message.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Impression Obsession Challenge-Happy Easter
Mod Squad Challenge-Pastel Fun
These dies arrived in the mail today so I was very eager to use them. I had my card design already in mind even before they came and so it was just a simple task of putting the plan into action. I hope you like it. Thanks for visiting too.
God bless,
Verna

This is so pretty and so cute with those darling bunnies, Verna! I'm so inspired by you ... your craft-ethic is the exact opposite of mine with all my NBUS. To have your card design already in mind BEFORE the schtuff is even delivered is really inspirational! You're my hero! Hugs, Darnell
Those cute little bunnies peeking from behind the grass is just delightful! Love the background flowers too - such a fun card!
Great Easter card. I really like the white accents you added to your sentiment.
Sweet Easter card, Verna! I love all the bunnies and the hot pink!
So cheery and fun! I do that too...design in my head first. Sometimes it works, sometimes not LOL

Gosh, you sure got right busy with your new stuff! The very day! I really, really love the daisy background and how you used it as a sky for your darling bunnies! That's thinking outside the box and it turned out amazing!
A wonderful, bright Easter card! I do love the little border of bunnies and your hand stamped background!
