This afternoon I decided to work on an Easter card. I used a die cut tulip design and a stamped sentiment.
I used the Tutti Designs Tulip Corner die for my focal image. I die cut it with white card stock and then colored it with Artzea Real Brush Pens. I also die cut a white panel using a MFT Die-Namics Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die. It was to this white panel that I added the tulip corner die cut.
I also took a strip of gingham pattern paper which was originally green and white but I took one of the lighter shades of the green from the Artzea pens and swiped that color over the white area. I found it matched the shades of the colors I had used for the tulips and the base card of light green.
The sentiment was taken from the Spring Baskets Gina K. Designs stamp set and stamped with Warm Cocoa ink. On both sides of the sentiment I added some orange rhinestone gems. Inside the card I added another white panel and also another strip of the gingham.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Double D's Challenge-Gingham
Scrappy Land Challenge #110-Anything Goes
I really love this look and am very happy with that beautiful tulip die and how it looks on this wonderful Spring looking card. I hope you have enjoyed seeing it as well.
Have a great evening and God bless,
Verna
