For the Guys!

A masculine card design was the mission this first day of March. So with a couple of dies I made a CAS birthday card. Dies used to make this card were the Impression Obsession Lighthouse Circle and Elizabeth Craft Designs Happy Birthday die.

I always struggle a bit when using dies but this one was a pretty easy design to do. I used light blue, white and navy card stock for it. And, I added some light blue and navy sequins that matched fairly well. I also added a white panel inside the card to add a sentiment or message.

I am entering this in the Dies R Us Challenge #116-For the Men/Boys in our Lives.

Well, we did indeed get snow. So I guess our lion did show up! The first round has ended but it is forecast for another round during the night. No flowers will be blooming in our neck of the woods for a long time to come. And I can just imagine how muddy it will get when the snow does melt. People might get stuck in mud as well as snow.

I am so thankful for all who stop by and visit and leave me wonderful comments.....even when sometimes my work is not up to par. You are all too kind. I hope you have a great weekend now.

God bless,
Verna

Great masculine card in design and color. I wish I could send you some of this Florida sunshine to melt all of that snow.

It may have been easy but it looks terrific. Sometimes we just need a quick and easy card and this fits the bill.

I actually saw a daffodil in bloom today, but 40 miles away they're still recovering from a snow storm--crazy! Love that lighthouse die--beautiful card!

Isn't it wonderful when you can use dies that can stand alone on a card and make the perfect focal point? Your card is CAS and just perfect! Thanks for linking up to the DRU "For the Men In Our Lives" challenge. Best of luck to you!
