We just learned that a cousin of my hubby's is not feeling well and since she always loved to have a garden in the past I thought she might like a lot of Petunias to look at while she is feeling so punk. So with that in mind I made this card for her.
For this card I used a Impression Obsession Cover-a-Card Petunias background and stamped it in black ink. I then took my Life Changing Blending Brushes and added pink color to the open white areas. I used shades of Gina K. Designs pink inks to get the variation I wanted. This panel was cut with a Memory Box Cross Stitched Border die and another panel was cut from the same die set in white card stock. These were then layered together and added to the Dusty Rose card stock base.
Next I added a ribbon and bow along the bottom area. I die cut the Prayers twice from white card stock and layered them together. I also added the Sending You sentiment. Both of these come from a Hero Arts Prayers Stamp and Die set. To complete the card I added another sheet of white card stock inside so that I can write her a short message.
I am entering this in the following challenges:

Dies R Us Challenge #117-One for the Ladies!
Well, today we have sunshine. Not real warm but it is so good to not have rain or snow for a change. And, not very windy either. Maybe things are looking more Springlike now. I hope where you are that the weather is improving for you too.
So until next time take care and God bless,
Verna
