Poinsettia Christmas Candles

I recently indulged myself a bit and bought a few Tutti Designs dies for my card making pleasure. So today I am sharing one of the cards I made using the Tutti Designs Poinsettia Candles die. I also used a Cheery Lynn Designs die for the sentiment.

I made a very CAS design with the candles and the negative portion of the Merry Christmas die. I saw that negative and it looked so pretty that I just could not waste it. So I backed it up with some Adhesive Glitter Paper from The Ton. I also used that same glitter paper for the candles. Once I had the main panel done I placed it on a royal blue base card and then also added some royal blue rhinestone gems for accent pieces. Inside I added a white panel for my message.  I was very pleased with the end result too.

I am entering this in the following:
March Rudolph Days Challenge
Scrapy Land Challenge #110-Anything Goes

It is definitely looking more Springlike around here. Now and then we see bare ground. It has been awhile for that as we had so much snow but with the thawing we are also seeing our little river rising and overflowing it's banks. Luckily, we live high on a hill so worry about it reaching us. I feel so bad where there are others who have lost their belongings and homes due to flooding.

I guess that is all for me today! I hope your week is off to a great start.

Until next time God bless you,
Verna

Beautiful card, Verna! I like how you used the negative of the die-cut - it looks gorgeous with the silver glitter paper! Awesome card for Rudolph Day! I went with blue for mine too!

I love when the negative cut is as pretty as the positive, and this sure is! I hope you got your Tutti dies on the sale they're having. I'm holding off, I guess. The silver and bright blue is really pretty on this, Verna!

Great job using the negative. Don't let anything go to waste as they are all inspiring. Love the contrast of the bright blue and the silver glitter.

The silver glittery background around the candle die is beautiful. I like the use of your rhinestones too. I must remember to use mine more and several sheets of mine are over ten years old! I don't want the glue to dry up!!!

Beautiful card, Verna.

Thanks for taking part in the March Rudolph Days Challenge.
