I wanted to join in at the Mod Squad Challenge in which we were to use stripes so I worked up a last minute card using some products from Concord & 9th.
I stamped the flowers and sentiment onto the striped pattern paper from the Concord & 9th Aloha Fill In Pattern Paper pack. I used all Gina K. Designs inks. And the stamps used on the outer panel were from the Concord & 9th Blooms Fill-In Stamp set. Inside the card I added a similar floral design from the Aloha Friend stamp set from Concord & 9th. I layered my stamped design onto the black card stock and from there it was placed on the yellow card stock base. The card was finished by adding some gems to the center of each flower.
I have had this stamp set and pattern paper for ages and finally I got to inking up some of the stamps. I guess I need to get these out more often. Even though they have a more tropical design I am sure they would still work to cheer someone up in my neck of the woods too.
Thanks for the visit. Take care and God bless,
Verna
