Happy Spring! Today I pulled out stamp and die coordinating sets from Stamplorations. I used the Bloom Happy sets to make my card. I also added an old die from Cuttlebug called Butterfly. Along with some card stock and gingham pattern paper I created my card.
The pattern paper, inks and card stock were all from Gina K. Designs. And a mix of alcohol ink markers were used to color the floral design. The black jewel candy dots are from Pebbles. Below is a photo of the card from a different angle. I think you can see all the details this way. The butterflies were popped up with some double stick photo tape.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Mod Squad Challenge One or More Dies-No Digitals
Double D's Challenge Gingham
We had a wonderful sunny day and the temps reached into the 40's above zero. A great start for Spring. It does get down to freezing overnight but that is a good thing as then the snow doesn't melt so fast and that might decrease the chance of more flooding. So we are thankful for that.
I hope your week is going great. Mine was busy working on Christmas cards again. I hope I can keep this trend up. But soon I need to get back to making my Easter cards. Anyway, thanks for the visit.
God bless,
Verna

Love what you have done with that stamp/die set here Verna. Simply gorgeous.
Love the country feel of this card! So pretty and those whimsical butterflies are the perfect touch!
Great "quad" card, Verna! I've not seen one done like this before, using rectangles instead of squares. Leave it to the true artist to come up with fun elements like this! It's a wonderfully happy creation! Thanks for the inspiration. hugs, de

Oh, gosh, those butterflies are cute! So happy! And you made them yellow -- my favorite. Cheerful combination with the gingham, which always seems to have an upbeat look. I hope you continue to ease gently into spring. Thanks for sharing your card in our gingham challenge at Double D!
