Happy New Year!

Sorry this post is late in wishing you a happy new year but we ended up getting visitors on New Year's Day so I did not get to posting as I had intended. But I guess we can still wish all of us a much better 2021. It was so nice to see some family in person though and the littlest grandchildren enjoyed being on the farm again so they could play with the dog, romp in the snow and then later on enjoy some table games with us. Oh, and Grandpa gave some tractor rides too.  My daughter brought the noon meal and I made the evening meal for them before they journeyed back to their home. They only live 75 miles from us so it was nice to have a day visit with them. We even got some hugs. They sure felt good.

I wish to thank all of you wonderful blogger friends for blessing me with your good wishes and encouragement as I have been coping with this cancer and the Covid. Hopefully, I can soon put both of them behind me and be in a more normal mode healthwise.

I hope all of you stay healthy too and that the new year will be a wonderful one for you as well.

God bless, Verna

How wonderful you were able to spend time with your family! Getting those hugs makes 2021 look good already. The farm is a terrific place for kids to come and tractor rides are the best - such memories for them. I am so happy you are getting better and better. I love your guy card with that beautiful blue bird. Keep up the great work, Verna.

Happy New Year to you and Arlin, as well! Sorry I’ve been MIA, but November/December kicked our patooties. We both got Covid too. My case was just fever, headache, body aches and fatigue, which only lasted about 8 days. My DH, however, was hospitalized twice. He just missed the ventilator by a tiny bit. That was his next step, if the plasma infusion hadn’t helped him. Here we are in January, and he is still very weak, and will be on oxygen for a few months, at least. Anyway, didn’t mean to write a book, just wanted you to know why I haven’t been around to see you. Big hugs!!! Feel better!!!

Glad you had a wonderful New Year's day, and those hugs that are such a blessing! We too are all praying that you can get over the hump on the cancer and COVID!

Things have been a bustle around here, and I'm way behind and have not even looked at my blog in weeks, and not been in the craft room for FAR too long -- hopefully will get caught up on communications this weekend and be back soon.

Hugs!
