Top Cat

I made a different Halloween card this time with the Cheery Lynn Dies and this card will be entered in the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog Challenge-Back to Nature and also the Crop Stop Linky Party #19-Anythng Goes. I am also entering this in the Double D's Blog Challenge to use polka dots.

This time I had that cat perched on top of a Jack-O'Lantern and I also added some more foliage flourishes too. My background is polka dot pattern paper and I have no clue as to who makes it. The black cat, sentiment, tie  and the flourishes were cut from Gina K. Designs card stocks. Also the pumpkin was too, but only in white paper and then I colored it with the Bic Mark-It pens.To highlight the eyes, nose and ears of the cat I used Galaxy Markers as they show up well on dark card stocks.

I adhered the layers together with Scor-Tape and used a Scor-Pal to score the crease in my base card of jelly bean green. The dies were added using Ranger Multi-Medium Matte glue. The final touch to the card was to add three black rhinestones along the edge in some of the white polka dots.

I just love that cat image and I thought he looked so cute sitting on top of the pumpkin too! It feels good to have another Halloween card done as well.

Cheery Lynn Dies used:
Whimsical Halloween Cat B850
Happy Halloween Twiggy Wreath B469
Jack-O'Lanterns B594
Mini Fanciful Flourish B117S

Other Supplies:
Gina K. Designs Pure Luxury Card Stock
Scor Pal Tape
Scor Pal Scoring Board
Ranger Multi Medium Matte Glue
Bic Mark-It Makers
Pattern Paper-Unknown
Galaxy Markers
Black Rhinestones-Unknown

I always love to see what comments you leave on my blog. They are very precious to me as well as each of you are too! Have a great rest of the week!

God bless,
Verna
