Once again on this card I am using one of the St. Patrick's vintage designs from Iralamijashop that I won a few months ago. It is a cute little Cupie Doll design and I backed it up on some plaid pattern paper from My Favorite Things. I also found some scraps of the perfect color of green card stock which made another layer.
I added that huge shamrock design from Cheapo Dies called Fancy Clover Set. It is a two piece set and the outer layer was done with some leftover dark colored green card stock. And, the sentiment from an old stamp set from Gingerbread (no longer in business) was stamped in dark green ink and then punched out with an oval scalloped punch. All the layers were added to a peach card base to create this CAS St. Patrick's Day design.
I had this card made several days ago but instead of posting it I was working on Easter cards. But since St. Pat's is just around the corner I figured I should show you this one too.
Another week almost gone again. It seems the weeks get shorter all the time. And, I get less and less done too! LOL Thanks for all the visits you have been giving me and also for the wonderful comments.
God bless,
Verna

SO cute! I have a few cupie dolls in my doll collection. Love the Cheapo die too!
This is fun with that great big beautiful shamrock! Love it!
Cute card, Verna. I love the plaid background and the shamrock is beautiful. xx
Very cute! I love this little vintage Paddy's cupie guy, and the plaid background looks so nice with the background of the image. The shamrock die is a great addition and you'll get a lot of use from this die I think. TFS & I'm in the same boat with accomplishing very much. Then I get a bit overwhelmed and go take a nap. Which doesn't help things at all! LOL TFS - Hugs
How cute is this little guy? Love this unique St. Patty's card, the peach plaid is so fun and that shamrock die is awesome.
What a sweet card using that darling image! Vintage images are so fun to work with and you've used this one to perfection Verna. I love the plaid and green and that amazing detailed shamrock. So sweet!
Love the plaid paper and that die is great. I am in the same boat as far as not getting much done. The days got longer with the time change and I get less done! Have a nice weekend.
That little Irish cherub just makes me smile. It's nostalgic somehow, isn't it? Kinda like a Kewpie Doll, remember those? This is just a great design, that die cut shamrock is perfect here and I love the plaid background. Super awesome card!!!
Love the scroll work in the clover, Verna! It's a beautiful vintage creation, and the melon color complements the green wonderfully!
Fun card--love the plaid!
So cute, that little doll! Makes me smile!
A lovely card Verna. I really like your vintage image and the die is a beauty. Barbxx
Oh I just love that sweet little vintage st patrick's image... how adorable! Great card... and Happy St. Patrick's Day (just a little late!). I was sick last week and you'd think that would be a good time to visit, but mostly I just laid around when I wasn't trying to get some work in... on the mend now so I'll be hopping around and catching up...
Your card is so cute. I love the image and your clover die goes so well with it. I understand about the weeks going faster. Seems like if I get in my craft room in the morning, I seem to stay there and I get less done, too.
