Card and Solution for Blogger Comments

Hi Everyone,

I am sharing a card I made with a design from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. I confess that I liked the way the stamp was used on the packaging of the stamp that I did a CASE of it.

I sponged on the background colors first and then with the use of my MISTI I stamped the silhouette image several times to get a good impression. With the set there is a little leafy stamp with which I added some more leaves to make it shaped the way I wanted it. I added a sentiment from Stampin' Up! to complete the main panel which I die cut with a Memory Box Cross Stitched Border Die. This was all placed on a white card base. I think it is such a peaceful looking scene.

Good news for all of us bloggers who have been missing our usual comments by email. According to Darnell and Kathleen this is the solution to getting comments by email again. I hope it gives you good results and I am hoping it works well for me too!

1. Go to your Dashboard.
2. Click on Settings.
3. Click on Email.
4. Delete email address and click "Save Settings" in upper right corner.
5. Re-enter email address and click "Save Settings" again.
6. You should now get an email from Blogger confirming that you want to subscribe. Click the underlined word "Subscribe".

Hopefully, this will work now. I did the process above and did get the email from Blogger. So we shall see what happens now. Just in case I will thank you for visiting and also for the wonderful comments you always leave me. Have a great Thursday.

Update: I am getting emails now showing the comments so it did indeed work. Hurray!

God bless,
Verna

This is a very pretty stamp and I like the sky you created for it. It is nice that we can use stamping tools to make it easier to get a good impression now. I am glad you have a fix for your comments!

THis is just beautiful, and I love the colors with that big tree and horse silhouette! Love it, and thanks for the email comment fix too - I'd already read it on Darnell's blog and it does indeed work!

Such a beautiful card, Verna! That stamp is gorgeous but it's your beautiful background that makes this card so wonderful!

This is a glorious sponged background, and your blending is sheer perfection. The black tree & horse silhouette looks beautiful in the foreground, very peaceful and serene. I tried those instructions (got mine at Darnell's thanks to a headsup from Carol L) and I THINK they are working for me. Now the crazy thing? I had done this a couple times before, and it did not work. I have no clue what is different, as I'm pretty sure this is exactly what I did. However, my previous times, I never got anything from Blogger telling me subscribe, and when I tried it after seeing these instructions at Darnell's blog, THIS time I did get the subscribe, I did, and now I'm getting some notifications. I can either moderate or publish. Whatever I'm thankful it seems to work! Hugs & TFS

Beautifull done background on the peaceful card. I love how you did this one. Thanks for the tip. I have printed it out and will check into it. I seem to be getting my comments, but who knows. Your email alerts to your posts keep going to the spam box. Now that I know that I look for them there.

Oh what a lovely scene. I love your sponged background and the silhouettes are the perfect look for that scene. I'll have to try deleting and re-entering my email. I saw Darnell give that advice but haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Beautiful card, it almost fit our color challenge at DOUBLE TROUBLE. My daughter passed this along to for fixing the commenting. You must know how many people you have made very happy. This was certainly missed by many. Thank you for sharing.
