The June Twofers Challenge #6 sponsored by Darnell Knauss uses a Trees theme. I have had this Poppystamps Boddington Tree Border die for several months so with this die I am using it to make not only a Christmas card but also a Father's Day card. The object is to try and use the same die or stamp in a different way to make two different types of cards.
For the Christmas card I used the Kiss Cute Glitter technique shown in this video by Demo Donna from Sparkle N Sprinkle. By sharing this video it is a much easier way to explain how I made it. All the glitter is from Sparkle N Sprinkle. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up! stamp set called Christmas Pines.
My Father's Day card uses Gina K. Designs stamps. The background for the sentiment is done using the Diagonal Striped Background stamp and Lucky Clover ink and the sentiment is from the By The Sea stamp set using Amalgon Jet Black ink. I also used some Gina K. Designs black card stock too to frame the striped background.. This time I simply die cut the Boddington Tree Border with Lucky Clover card stock from Gina K. Designs and added it to a white card base.
Well, I must admit this was fun to do and of course, my floor and I both sparkle too! I am sure we will have glitter in everything for a few days. I got a lot of glitter when I was designing for Sparkle N Sprinkle so it is something I should try and use a lot more often.
I wish you a great Sunday and hope the rest of the week is a great one too! Thanks for stopping by.
God bless, Verna

Thanks for visiting and for your wonderful comments.
Two beautiful cards, Verna, the cards look so different. I love both cards, but my favourite is your Father's Day card, the CAS design is beautiful. xx
These are beautiful! I loooooove that glittery Christmas one--fantastic!!!
You sure made this stamp look different on these two cards. You have sparked my interest in the Twofer challenge. Not use I could top these but I could try.
Verna, these are two beautiful cards for the tree challenge. The glitter card just shines and the Father's Day card is a wonderful masculine card. I don't do glitter anymore. Just can't handle it. Me, the dog, the carpet, the bathroom - it is everywhere and I find it for months afterwards. Kind of like Christmas tree needles.
LOVE these, same but different. Love the simpleness of the first one and the colors on the second. Well done!
You nailed the twofer challenge with these great cards! Not sure which one I like the most, but I admire you for working with all that glitter! I tend to run from that stuff :)
Wow--you nailed the challenge with 2 totally different looks from that die! 2 great cards!
First off, I love that tree die, Verna! Great choice! Second, I think you have made the most colorful and schparkliest Christmas card I've ever seen! It's awe-mazing! I think it's also great that you made a manly Father's Day design using the same trees! And I'm impressed that you made that striped background, too!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #6! Hugs, Darnell
two great cards...love that die.
xx Karen
What a great die you've used to make such a fabulous Father's Day card! Love the fresh colors! And all that sparkle on your Christmas card is just phenomenal! Two wonderful designs!
Thanks so much for joining us at the Twofer!
Fabulous cards both so creative and yet so different...you always 'rock' this challenge, by the time I figure something out it has ended lol!!
Two totally different and beautiful looks from your wonderful tree die, Verna! Your Father's Day card is perfectly masculine with the clean look and your stripes! I immediately went over to the video to see how you created your glitter card. It's so striking! You're a braver woman than I using all that glitter, but you achieved that Christmas sparkle that makes that time of year so fun! I hope you had an easy time picking off all those little areas of release paper from within the trees! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
That is a gorgeous die, Verna ... what a great choice for your Twofer! All that shimmery glitteriness on the Christmas card is fantastic ... bright, vibrant and positively magical! Your Father's Day card is crisp, fresh and deliciously airy ... the cool strips are fabulous with the graphic style of the outline trees! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
Amazing cards using this modern tree die, Verna! LOVE the gorgeous and sparkly Christmas card. So cool! Thanks for the link to the video, I definitely want to know how you did this. And I love the Father's day card. White and green are so fresh and the little bit of black adds some drama. Great designs on both cards! Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge!
These are awesome Verna! I love both cards, the sparkle one is so fun and I love the colors too!
Wow, that Christmas card does indeed sparkle! Never seen one this sparkly and I am loving it! Loving that die as well. Your father's day card is awesome as well and I love that the tree's make it look so masculine. Well done! Hugs, Brenda
You've aced this challenge again, Verna! Wow, the glitter! Beautiful cards, both!
That glitter card is just amazing! WOW!!!!
That was a great video and technique! Love how you've used these and that glitter... WOW!! Beautiful! Both so different, both so lovely!
The glitter is amazing Verna, there is something about the sparkle that draws you in. Both cards are great and I love how you showed two completely different looks with the same die
Hi Verna, trying to get round to seeing some of the 2fer cards, since I'm so far behind in visiting. I LOVE the modern style of this border die. You've really used it so beautifully on both cards. I like the simple design on the green, and it's enhanced so nicely with the striped border you used at the top. Oh my! But the glitter and glam on #2, that is just over the top gorgeous! Well done, my friend. TFS & Hugs
What a great way to stretch your supplies, Verna! You've created two very different but equally wonderful designs with that one die.
