Colors of the USA Flag

The challenge at Gina K. Designs this month is called "Flag! You're It!" so with that in mind I naturally chose the colors of the United States of America. However, it could be the colors of any state or country. That was your choice.

I not only used the red, white and blue colors but I also chose a feather design to represent the feathers of the Eagle. And, I topped off the design with three gold stars from a Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blend called Shooting Star. It had a mixture of elements in the package but the shaped stars in gold were what caught my attention and I thought them a perfect addition to this card.

All inks  used were from Gina K. Designs and I used the Gina K. Designs Geo Thanks stamp set. The feathers were stamped with the help of my Misti. And, I  used both Connect Glue and a Crafters Companion Glue pen for adding the fussy cut layers to the sentiment.

Thanks for visiting and I hope your week is off to a good start. Take care and God bless you.

Beautiful card, and great colors -- I also enjoyed the colored layers for the sentiment but loved the fading of colors on the sentiment!
