I wanted to express my thanks to all who so faithfully look at my blog posts and leave such wonderful comments. They mean so much to me. So when I saw this cute stamp set from Paper Smooches called Garden Greetings I knew I had to have it for all the cute and easy designs on it. And, they have a bee so I now have two bees in my stash. Yay!
To make this card I simply stamped the images with black ink and then colored them in with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I love the simplicity of this design and I know it will be a favorite set of mine. There are several floral word designs on it so no doubt I will be posting other little note cards in the future with it.
I hope all will have a wonderful Fourth of July. We have plans for the weekend to celebrate our granddaughter's birthday and then next week our branch of the Angerhofer clan is hosting the semi-annual family reunion so I have been busy getting ready for those events. So I am afraid I don't have a lot of time for card making these days. And today I finally got an appointment to get a haircut. I feel so much cooler and I know it is my imagination but something about a haircut makes one feel so much better. I wouldn't exactly say I have a "spring in my step" as that spring got broken years ago and will no longer work. LOL
Also the radishes from the garden are doing great but they are so muddy that it takes forever to get the dirt off of them. Arlin says he was bringing me some red mud balls. LOL We are like a lot of the country getting more then our share of rain lately. It is so hard to keep up with lawn mowing and gardening when it is forever wet.
Well until next time take care and God bless.
Hugs,Verna

Cute and wonderful CAS card. It is always fun to visit your blog.
We will have a quiet holiday this year and it has been so busy that it is welcomed. Now, it is a little bit better as I am thankful for your friendship and crafty blog. You are so very good at responding to each and every comment. You do circles around me. Have a great day and I enjoyed your CAS thank you card.
Darling little bee, and I'm glad it found its way to your home, Verna. It's bee-u-tee-ful! I am jealous over your radishes. Radishes are a winter crop for us, when we are able to get them to grow. They seem not to like our soil - maybe too much lime? Our gardening season is over, although we're still experimenting with tomatoes in their new location. We have heat warnings with indexes reaching 105-110 so it's kinda hot here. I think it's supposed to return to normal temps next week. Wishes for a fantastic Angerhofer family reunion! hugs, de
This is cute as can "bee". I know what you mean about the spring in your step. My spring sprung quite a while ago so I don't pop up like I used to! Have a safe holiday and enjoy your upcoming activities.
Such a contemporary and wonderful CAS card. Those stamps are so cute and glad you've expanded your bee collection to two x. Enjoy your celebrations and make wonderful memories x.
Such a sweet little card, and the message is so heartfelt, and very welcomed. It is my great good pleasure to have the honor of knowing you and being able to see your beautiful creations. Life is good, my friend. So thankful to call you friend!!!
Well, Verna, this is one of my all time favorite cards ever. I like it so much I went and looked at the set. You can spell "hello" with those letters, too. I just love the utter simplicity of this. Our son is here for the holiday. After the 10th we should be out of here in our motor home, if all goes well. Things have not worked out so far this summer, but I hope we'll make up for lost time. We've thought of heading your direction later. Sure hope we don't get rained out!
This is such a cute and fun card, and I love how those flowers grow right out of the sentiment! Great CAS make!
I love the thanks with the little flowers on it! So cute with the bee!
I actually think that getting my hair cut keeps me from getting headaches. The extra weight really feels like a lot some days. But it is hard to get in the appointments, so sometimes it gets long.
Hope you had some great family events!
So cute to have the flowers as part of the letters! I can see why you had to have this!
So very cute. Love your tiny bee
Oh this card is adorable with that little bee! Might have to get me one.... ha! Have fun at your family reunion, we'll al. be here when you get back!
Such a darling card. I love the little bee.
