The die I used is from the Cheery Lynn Designs Christmas Bell set. I colored the design with Zig Cleancolor markers and then painted over the top with some metallic water color paints that I have in my stash. Sorry I have no idea who made them either as I seem to have lost the inner sheet with the company name on it. But they sure did give the images some shimmer. I also added some specks of the shimmery water color paint on the Ivory card front. Next I took a narrow strip of card stock and made it look like another piece of the ribbon and put that on the bottom. The sentiment is from the Altenew Lyrical Script stamp set which was inked up with Gina K. Designs Obsidian black ink. The last thing I added was three red rhinestones for the center of the bow.
**Update: I found out the shimmery watercolors are the Yusotoma Niji Pearlescent Watercolor set-21 colors. You can see the set HERE. Click on the 21 color set but I see there is a smaller set too.
I have another card in the works using this method which I will post another time. I hope you get to try this as I thought it really a fun thing. Only downside is that you have to let things dry before you do any assembling. I found that out the hard way and that is the main reason my red rhinestones were added as my little berries fell apart when I attacked them too soon. LOL

Well I think it turned out beautifully. I saw this technique a few weeks ago and saved it to try when I have time and certainly have the dies to use. Will be looking forward to seeing your other ones...very pretty.

Your card turned out great and if you hadn't mentioned why you added the rhinestones, we wouldn't have known the difference. Thanks for the warning that everything does have to dry completely (I'm impatient) I'm not really into watercolor myself, but I may have to give this a try. It gives a whole new dimension to die cutting and water coloring. Thanks for including the link to the video.

Wow, Verna, compressed serviettes, who’d have thought, must try that, thanks for letting me know, yours looks great, .. maybe variety in number of layers, she used eight, she said at one stage, and regular watercolours I think prob different too.

Oh Verna also just recalled, the fine leaf ones didn’t work as well, she said, but leaves like poinsettia flowers, or holly bush with wider surface area work better so maybe that’s where pine branch is issue .. think it might be Marianne die as have one like that.
