Time is almost up for getting my Twofers into Darnell's September Twofer Challenge so I worked on these this afternoon.
I used stamp cat images and the bottom sentiment from the Stampinback designs which are sold at I Brake For Stamps. The top birthday greeting was computer generated. And dies from Cheery Lynn Design were also used.
I stamped the cats with Gina K. Designs Obsidian Amalgam ink as well as the bottom sentiment. I used blending brushes to add color to the white panel these kitties were stamped on. I then die cut the design out with a die from The Greetery called Crimped Frame Die. The design was added to a black card stock base and I lined the inside of the card with another die cut panel of white card stock. The sentiments were fussy cut with a scissors and then added.
My Halloween card was done by die cutting a circle die with a Cheery Lynn Designs die from a folded piece of orange card stock but not cutting all the way at the top where the crease was so that my card would still be hinged. The stem I did myself (you can tell an amateur did it) and then found some previously die cut leaves from Cheery Lynn Designs which I used as well for my pumpkin decor. I fussy cut the cat and then added it to the front and also die cut the sentiment which is from Cheery Lynn Designs and added that. I cut the sentiment in two so that I could fit it onto my pumpkin better though.
Well, that does it for me today. Three cards accomplished so maybe my muse is coming back. Thanks for visiting!
God bless,
Verna

Great use of the cat for both cards! I adore the cute Halloween card!
Those cats do work so well for both a birthday card and a halloween card. Once again, I really like the product from the Greetery! I visited their website and a couple things I was interested in were out of stock, so maybe sometime later. Thanks for sharing!
I'm glad to hear your Mojo is coming back, Verna! These silhouette kitties are so pretty with their flower patterns and they look great featured on your birthday and Halloween designs! Wow, a 90th birthday is nothing to sneeze at! Love the background and border and purrrrfect sediment! And your Halloween shaped card is a treat! I think you did a great job on the stem and leaves! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #20!! Hugs, Darnell
Verna, I'm a cat lover so what a treat to see your two kitty cards. The 90th (wow) birthday card is festive with the two silhouettes and greetings. Your pumpkin shaped card is also perfect for a festive fall. Thank you for joining in at Twofer Card Challenge #20.
Fun kitty cats for sure and two very fun cards...90 wow...what a great card for that age, I know I would love it..of course I love cats so much I hope I don't turn into a cat hoarder someday LOL...just kidding (sort of)!!
Wonderful cards, Verna. All are lovely. Great use of those cats.
It looks like we are on the same wave link with black cats! Your cards are great especially the circle card. That is so cool and a fun Halloween card. The sentiment for your birthday card is so cute.
Oh, such darling Halloween cards! Love those black cats! Reminds me of our black cat we had years ago, so cute!
Super fun use of the black cats!
Look at you with your Twofers! I'm glad you got them done in time. You always do such a great job with this challenge. Pretty kitties with the petite flower pattern. A sweet card for a 90 year old (sounds less old all the time to me), and awesome against the orange pumpkin. How cool that is for a shaped card! I love both! Thank you for joining us, Verna!
Wonderful little kitties! Great cards
I love black cats...these are so adorable with the tiny print on them!!
What a fun Twofer with these cute cats! I like that round Halloween card, and someone celebrating a 90th birthday is really special! Well done on both!
Two great designs with that very cool cat! I love the pumpkin and think your stem is perfect! The Halloween card gives the feeling of a pumpkin carved with a cat shape in it... it's very cool!
Fabulous Twofer! I gave up on it this month....too bad... no time whatsoever...keeping my fingers crossed for you!
