Today I did some stamping and also used some die cuts and a big heart punch for this card. I thought this might work for a design for a child or an adult who is young at heart!
The pattern paper and the sentiment on this card are from Gina K. Designs. The little scene which I punched out uses a tree and grass stamp from Stampscapes and the little puppy image is from Embossing Arts which is available at I Brake for Stamps.
The scene was stamped out with Black Staz-on ink and was colored with a combo of Distress Markers and also I used some ink pads from Andirondack for sponging on ink. A heart punch took in the part of the scene I wanted to capture. Once that was done I layered it onto red card stock and fussy cut around it to create a border.
My oval dies are from Spellbinder, On the white inner oval I stamped the sentiment in red before I layered it to the outer decorative brown oval. I then added this to the pattern paper and layered that panel with brown before I placed it on the white card base. I finished by adding my heart scene and a ribbon.
I hope you liked this little valentine design. As always, I had a great time and am happy I have another valentine for my future sending.
Have a fun and creative day!
God bless,
Verna
