Bookmark

While searching for something else I ran across these old bookmark covers from Posh Impressions and I decided to make a bookmark instead of the original idea I had for my project today. I am glad I found this as it was a perfect afternoon activity for me.

I took a 2 inch by 7 inch strip of white card stock and then took my blending brushes and added shades of green, pink, orange and blue to it. Next I took the Gina K. Designs Obsidian Amalgam ink and stamped the butterflies and verse from the Gina K. Designs Women of Faith set. I then added a few black pearls before slipping it into the plastic sleeve. The final touch was to add some old fiber from my stash which had bits of color mixed in with the black.

Here is a closeup of the verse as I am sure it is harder to read in this first photo

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Mod Squad Challenge-Anything But a Card
Double D Challenge-Featured Challenge

Thanks for visiting and I hope your day is going well. Prayers for all who are in the path of the hurricane. May the Lord keep you safe!

God bless,
Verna
