This weekend one of our local towns is having their high school graduation and we have been invited to a few of the open houses. Since the school colors are maroon and gold I went with that theme on this card design. I used the Kitchen Sink Stamps 3 Step Graduation stamp set to create it.
The pattern paper is from Lawn Fawn. And, the inks used were from Gina K. Designs. They were Ivory, Cranberry Tart, Kraft, Slate, Dandelion Yellow, Tangerine Twist and Amalgon Jet Black ink. Sometimes I had to stamp off the inks to create a lighter shade but that was no problem. The enamel dots are from Stampin' Up! I used the Gina K. Designs Small Rectangle Die for the card stock layers.
I am entering this in the Double D's Challenge-Bling It Up. I don't have a lot of bling but I think those enamel dots should qualify as bling. They seemed perfect for this card at any rate.
Well, the weekend is once again upon us. I don't plan much crafting as I have these graduations to attend and also need to clean my house. I am tracking cut up paper scraps all over the place. LOL Thanks for the visit and comments. I'll visit again with you soon.
God bless,
Verna

Fabulous graduation card, Verna! I love the background paper and the card colors. They work well together...are they school colors? Thanks for joining the Double D, "Bling It Up" Challenge.
LOVE this! What a cool stamp set! Have to check that out... I've realized I have very little for graduation cards...lol... have fun at your parties!
The colors, the 3D, the elegance! The Kitchen Sinks stamps sure do give a real popping image! The perfect graduation card!
A perfect graduation card using the school colors Verna! I love the depth you get from using Kitchen Sink stamps. I think the candy dots definitely qualify as "bling" too. Beautifully done! Enjoy all those open houses with friends.
I'd forgotten I own this stamp set until I saw your card! It turned out fabulous with those great colors and simple design!
Love the plaid and your wonky placement of that panel beneath, doesn't that add so much interest! Those are perfect stamps! And of course your simple candy dots, the perfect bling accents! Thanks so much for playing along with us again at The Double D Challenge Blog, Bling It Up, Donna, DT Member.

Love this design. So cool that you incorporated the school colors by using that plaid. I really, really like this card!
Very cool result using the school colors Verna! Thanks for the ideas!
Once again you've put together the perfect grad card. I like these colors, the plaid and the double stitches. It has a masculine look, so if there's such a thing as masculine bling, those candy dots would be it. I'm glad you shared it with us at Double D.
Fabulous graduation card, Verna! Love how you used the schools colors!
