But I am not making a fishing card but instead making one with pretty Spring blossoms on it. I wanted to join in the White Rose Crafts Mood Board Challenge which is on their Facebook page. You can read all about it at the White Rose Crafts LLC Blog post. I think most of you will find something you own in your stash that will qualify you for entering. They carry lots of nice products. The last two months we did not have enough entries to give away the prize so I hope this will encourage you to go for it this month. And it is nice prize too!
The stamp set I chose to use is from Inkdadinkado called Doodle Flowers and you can find it at White Rose Crafts LLC. And the sentiment and die are also available there and it is called Count Your Life by Ultimate Crafts. The die used to die cut the main panel out is a Memory Box Cross Stitched Border die from my stash which was not available at their store.
I colored the design in with my Bic Alcohol markers and then used my blending brush to add some blue ink around the edges and to make a bit of a cloudy look in the sky. I also added a piece of white paper inside to add a message.
Well, I am happy to say I almost feel normal. I think I got some sort of flu as it has been a week of feeling weak, tired, chills, achy joints, no appetite and tummy ache. But today I am much improved. I hope it lasts now. Thanks for visiting and for looking at my simple card designs of the past week. It was a forced effort and I am sure it showed. But this time I put more time into my work and I like it better. So anyway, I hope your week is off to a good start. See you next time.
God bless,
Verna

Your card is beautiful. I love the colors.
Hopefully you are on the full road to recovery. It's terrible to feel like that. Don't over do. We all tend to do that when we are feeling better. [Bunny]
Sounds like you're eager for spring as well! I know I am! Beautiful card, Verna! Lovely colouring and inking!
Your card is so happy and cheerful looking. This card would definitely cheer someone up when feeling sick or make them smile for any occasion. Love the bright colors.
Brrrr, sounds like it was cold up there! It's getting all spring like here, and I'm sure loving the spring flowers on your card! Super cute stamps. It's reassuring to hear you're feeling better. I think I'll have to go straight to the doctor if I get any flu-like symptoms until this Corona virus is defeated.
Another great card! Love that sentiment! Am ready for spring.
Super fun Spring card!
Lovely card Verna... Ice Fishing is one thing I haven't done. I have loved to fish since I was a young girl and even grew up in the NE, but I don't remember ever seeing any ice fishing then. The end of Feb seems so early for the ice to start melting... Sorry to hear you were feeling under the weather and glad you are feeling better
