The Train Set for Cards for Little Hearts

I know that little boys a lot of times like trains so I decided to make a few cards using the Train Conductor digital stamp from Tiddly Inks. There were no hearts on the image but I thought a few puffs of heart shaped smoke coming from the train stack might work well. So I hand drew a few of them in. I also used a stencil to make a heart designed background with my blending brushes.

And another neglected item in my card making cupboard were decorative scissors so I used one of them to create a framed edge around the focal image. I used to use them all the time and now I seldom pull them out either.  The sentiment was computer generated.

Thanks for checking in and for the lovely comments. We are getting snow again this morning. Ahhh! Wonderful Winter!

God bless,
Verna

Oh, gosh, too cute! You have plenty of hearts on these cards to make them just perfect! I still have some of my decorative edge scissors that I use, too.

Great idea to add the hearts for the smoke! Also a great way to use your decorative scissors. I have some that I forget about!

I had to stop and add a comment as these cards are so sweet and creative. Cute idea, all of it. I got rid of my scissors a long time ago because I didn't use them.

These are cute and will be perfect for the card drive.

I, too, have the scissors. They were some of my first purchases when I started paper crafting. I did use one pair the other day and remembered why. I made an envelope and wanted the flap to look decorative. [Bunny]
