Here is another stenciled design. I have this wreath builder stencil from Gina K. Designs and even though it is a very open stencil I figured I could still add some sponged inks to it and make a card with it. As an experiment I was not sure what I would end up with but I guess in this case it isn't too bad and certainly will be a card I will send to someone.
I used a 4 inch square of white card stock and added the inks in the center of the stencil by going in one direction only. But for the last color of a lime green that I added I went the opposite direction and that made for even different colors when it all blended together. I think I did goof though when I stamped the images from the Gina K. Designs Bold & Blooming set by placing them upside down but I guess it still looks fine to me. The sponged design was layered onto Slate card stock and then I cut it down the center and placed one half on top and one half on the bottom of the A2 size
(4 1/4 x 5 1/2) inch card stock base. I then stamped the sentiment on a white panel and layered that to Slate card stock and placed it over the two split sections. The last step was to add some black gems.
Well, plans today are to do some baking so I don't think I will be stamping much at all. It is okay to take a break. Thanks for visiting and for all the wonderful comments you leave.
God bless,
Verna
