It's a Girl Thing!

It's a Girl Thing is the theme for the Turner Syndrome Awareness 3rd Annual Blog Hop and Challenge for February 2021. So for that reason I made a card for this occasion and to help bring more information to you about this syndrome.

For this card I used the fairy, butterfly and the sentiment from Jan's Digitals called TSF Fairy.  I combined it with a digital background that came from Artstystamper from the Blossoms Paper Pack. I thought these digital stamps and papers from two of my favorite digital companies worked great together. And, all the coloring was done so all I had to do was assemble the card. I printed out more butterflies and fussy cut out one and tried to prop it on the card to make it look more dimensional. And after layering it to a black panel it was then added to the white card base to finish.

Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born missing all or part of the second X chromosone leaving her with life long medical issues and learning disabilities. One in 2000 females worldwide are born with this condition. For more information check the MyTurner Syndrome Journey post to find out more about the condition and also for some fun hopping.  If you wish make a card to enter too. So many wonderful sponsors have provided prizes!

I am also entering this in Jan's Digi Challenge.

Well, that is all I have for you today. Time to call it a day! I hope all of you have a great night!

God bless, Verna

You did a great job on this digital image for this challenge. That little girl is so cute and it looks like she is talking and giving great advice to the butterfly.

How stinkin' cute. When I saw that little fairy I immediately thought of Donna Phelan's little granddaughter, Penny. Looks just like her. I love your design here, and that greeting is awesome. Sweet little card, my dear!

Dear Verna, what a special and pretty card for a young lady! Boy, you sure have been creating and I'm happy to see you bounce back from the last surgery and Covid 19. Thank you for bringing attention to this disorder. I have heard about it and read up on it. How we long for promises in the Bible to come true, like at Isaiah 33:24 when no one will say they are sick anymore. We truly need hope like that. Sending you lots of love and hugs. Please say aloha to Arlin for us! πŸŒžπŸ’πŸŒ΄

Oh my goodness, Verna - this is so pretty! That background paper is gorgeous behind the sweet TSF images! Thanks so much for joining in the hop, my friend. I hope that you are doing well these days. Seems like since Covid, I never spend much time online. Trying to do better! We got round one of our vaccines on Saturday - wahoo! Of course, they made us SO sick, but only for 1.5 days. Praying for you and your man! Hugs...
