Love Card

I really do not need a Valentine anymore but I thought perhaps this design might work for someone who is having an anniversary also. I may just leave this one set though until next year at this time of Valentines when I need to tell people I love them.  But I had to play a bit today since our birthday party plans were canceled.

I die cut the heart frame into white card stock. The sentiment was then die cut with red. Then I added some pink to match the pattern paper behind the heart. I had to trim up the focal panel and then added a very narrow trim of red card stock. I just used my paper cutter for these layers. I added the panel in a wonky direction on to the pattern paper covered card base and finished it off by adding three red rhinestone gems. An afterthought was to add a strip of the pattern paper inside the card too.

Thanks so much for visiting and I hope your week will be a great one. My computer acted up yesterday so I sure hope that is not a sign of more problems to come. So if I am missing in action that may be the reason.

God bless,
Verna

Fabulous card. Verna. I really like that heart die. The tiny red border border really makes the focal panel pop against the fun pattern paper.

Sorry to hear your family plans were cancelled. :(

Love this clean, cheerful design. That heart panel looks like it's exploding in an understated way - is that possible?? LOL Just the right amount of that adorable background paper is showing to complement but not take away from your focal panel. Great card!!

This is a lovely card! I sometimes keep making cards after I have enough just because I am in the mood close to a holiday. And then I am ahead for next year, if I don’t send it out. I am sorry your plans were cancelled. Hope you are having a nice Monday!

What a wonderful card Verna - love the red heart and sentiment inside the white, and the paper is fabulous behind it.
I know what you mean about computers 'playing up' - I am still using a borrowed one as mine effectively 'died' early December last year. My new one is in the country, but is held up 'in quarantine' as it has come directly from China....
