I was beginning to think I had no Impression Obsession dies or stamps that would qualify for the current challenge but I lucked out when I remembered I had this one die set that included birds in it. So this is my entry for the Impression Obsession Challenge-Feathered Friends. With this die set I created a scene by doing some brush blending for a background. I hope you like it.
I took blending brushes and ink to create a sky and a snowy ground cover by using a torn paper mask. Then I took the birch die cuts which were cut from white card stock and then lightly brushed along the edge with some gray ink. After I had all the trees on my scene I then added the birds from the set that I had die cut from red glitter paper. I also stamped the sentiment and layered that to red glitter paper.

Beautiful scene -- great job of blending that sky, and it all makes for a perfect holiday card!
Very pretty card. I do like that color of blue in your sky, and the sparkly birds. Glad you were able to get an idea together for this challenge. It is harder when you have to use all their products.
You sure made this card look like it is chilly out there. It’s a beautiful chilly scene. Great job.
Hi Verna! Very pretty winter scene with those sweet cardinals. I'm a birdie addict (as well as coffee! haha) so had to come by to admire. :-)
It's a great die set, Verna, and a beautiful scene, especially with your shaded skyline and the pretty shadows in the snow! I'd say perfect for their challenge! hugs, de
Another beautiful scene you have created here, Verna. Your sky is so pretty and the sparkly cardinals really pop!
Oh, I love these trees! One of these days I'll have to add a birch tree die to my collection. It's essential, don't you think? Very pretty with the snow and the glittery birds. Loving, my brushes. Thanks, Verna!
Lovely card, Verna, I love the pops of red. xx
A beautiful wintery scene! Your sky background you created is perfect!
Yay!! I am so glad you remembered you had this set! I love this die set. I don't have it yet but it's on my wishlist! I love the sparkling cardinals!
Beautiful... love how the red cardinals just pop in the scene... love it!
A fabulous card. I love the beautiful sky. You are a smart gal-getting those Christmas cards done early.
So pretty! Love the sparkly, red birds on your scene.
Beautiful scene--love the birds in red glitter!
You've created a lovely card, Verna. Thanks for playing at the Impression-Obsession Feathered Friends challenge with us! Your shading on the trees, the red glitter on your birds, and your amazing blending of that beautiful blue sky all add details that make your card stand out. Hugs, Lynda Joy
