This morning I made a masculine card design that would work for either a Father's Day or a birthday card. I am not sure which way I will use it right now. I used mostly Impression Obsession products and went with die cuts and a sentiment stamp set to create it. This card is being entered into the Impression Obsession Challenge in which we are to use yellow and blue.
Impression Obsession Dies used:
Pinked Stitched Sentiment Banner DIE814-U
Good Day Fishing DIE800-YY
Impression Obsession Stamp Set:
CL491 Life Stuff Sentiments
I used Gina K. Designs inks and Wild Dandelion, Navy and White card stocks. And, I did the ink blending on the background using the Life Changing Blending Brushes from Picket Fence Studios. The enamel dots on the sentiment panel are from Stampin' Up!
I had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend with my family and they did treat me royally. I am so blessed. And, I thank you for the visits and wonderful comments too.
God bless,
Verna

Your card is neat as a pin and so perfect for a guy card! Such lovely sunset blending on the lake!! I'm glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! Hugs, Darnell
I know it's masculine but I am going to say it anyways, it is a BEAUTIFUL card, lovely inking!! Glad you had a fab MD, mine was the first without my Mom being here, but my kids kept me busy!!
You did perfect job of blending these colors for this masculine card. All together the die and and background make for a fabulous card.
Oh wow, this is just a perfect masculine card. I love the mood you have created with the beautiful sponged background and the silhouetted focal. Fishing companions at dusk, just lovely!
That is beautiful blending on your background and the silhouette pops against it. A wonderful masculine card. I'm glad you had a nice Mother's Day. Every mom should be spoiled.
LOVE this beautiful! peaceful card Verna. It brings back wonderful memories of my fishing past : )
Fantastic card here Verna. Lovely scene you created and look so calming and relaxing.
Oh, my, that's a beautiful die, Verna! I'm sure that partly the reason I find it so beautiful is because of your gorgeous sunset background. I really like the sentiment banner, too. I'm glad to hear you were treated royally on Mother's Day. You deserve it!
THis is a great card for someone who enjoys fishing! Love the colors of the sky!
Nice masculine card. Your blended background looks great and is the perfect backdrop for your fishing scene die cut. I love cards that work for multiple occasions and are ready to go when one is needed!
I just love this scene!!!
love the look, great colour combo and layout too.
