The Double D Challenge is celebrating their four year anniversary with some punch. Not only does the mood board feature the ingredients for some punch but one is also required to use a punch in a design for the challenge. Now I was happy to see we needed to use a punch as I have quite a few of them. In fact, years ago that was the only way I could get a decorative edge as I had not progressed into using die cuts. So hopefully neglected punches around blog land should be getting a work out for this challenge and I hope you like my design.
My punch used for this card is a Martha Stewart punch called Modern Garland. And, the stamps I used are from the Gina K. Designs You're The Sweetest stamp set. Together along with Gina K. Designs inks and card stock I created this card. It reminds me of summer. And, that is a season I am looking forward to again.
This is my second post of the day. So wish me luck in getting the internet to work long enough to post it. Sorry it is such a short writing but I have to work quick these days.
Take care and God bless,
Verna

Refreshing looking. You know you used to see those MS punches everywhere years ago and I guess she quit making them. There are a few of the older ones I wished I had. [Bunny]

This is especially lovely, Verna! I love solid images of fruit like these and the colors are full of summer! I can't imagine how cold winter is so I'll hope it doesn't get too bittery cold for you. And here's to faster, stronger internet services! Love the punched border, too!
I adore this colorful and cheerful card! Not only do I love the yellow, but the fruit is so pretty! It's great to see punches getting some exercise. They were the only thing we had until dies came along and I still love them.
These stamps remind me of the fruit slice candies! I love the punch that you used. So pretty.
A wonderful vibrant card Verna - love the fresh fruit, and that punched border is such a sweet one
Blessings
