Time to catch up and get my Twofers in for Darnell's Twofer Card Challenge #15-Zoo Animals. I chose a darling elephant image and tried to use it two different ways.
First up is the note card featuring that cute elephant image. I also used some pattern paper to go with the design which was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.
Supplies:
Wild Rose Studio: Bella With Flowers Stamp
Your Next Stamp: Just A Note Sentiment
Wild Rose Studio: Bella Paper Pack
Gina K. Designs: Large Circle Single Stitch Die
Gina K. Designs: Card Stock
Gina K. Designs: Amalgam Black Ink
The second card is also colored with Prismacolor and Gamsol. This time I chose to make it a birthday card.
Supplies:
Wild Rose Studios: Bella With Flowers Stamp Set
Wild Rose Studios: Sentiment from Bella's Party 2 Stamp Set
Poppystamps: Stitchwork Rectangle Frames
Gina K. Designs Card Stock
Gina K. Designs Black Amalgam Ink
I had been wanting to ink up these stamps for a long time and so I am glad this opportunity for using zoo animals prompted me to dig them out and make these cards. I think Bella is so darling.
Well, that is it for me today. I wish all a great evening and thanks for the visit.
God bless,
Verna

That elephant is so adorable! Both of your cards are so pretty!
Oh! Your little ellies are so cute, Verna! I have two of the Wild Rose Bella ellies and I've loved using them several times. Just look how perfectly they work for both occasions. You colored them so prettily and I love the sentiment stamp for the birthday card. You always ace the Twofer challenge. Thanks for joining us! ps: Enjoy those Easter leftovers.
That is such a sweet elephant image, Verna. She looks like she was made for these two cards! Love those big daisies she's holding, too. Your coloring is wonderful. Two very cute cards! Thank you for joining us at the Twofer Challenge! Bev
I'm also glad that this challenge prompted you to bring that sweet NBUS stamp to life, Verna! The little elephant is cute enough, but the fact that she is carrying flowers and some paper love makes her even cuter! You colored her and her flowers so well in both your designs ... which, by the way, ARE different, so great job with that! I love the white circle popped against that beautifully colored circle and dot background on your note card and the pp frame on your birthday card!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #15! Hugs, Darnell
These are two adorable cards! I especially like the first one - the background paper makes me think of circus for some reason. The colors are the perfect match for your gorgeously colored image.
What happy, sweet cards for the Twofer challenge, Verna! Wonderful bright colors and pure bliss! I love that you changed the flavor from "just a note" to a birthday celebration! These are adorable and beautiful! I am about to publish a blog post in a few moments that will link to your blog. hugs, de
You did a great job coloring your adorable elephant images and in coming up with two wonderful card designs using them. The stitched circle panel goes perfectly with the patterned paper you chose, and I love that stitched rectangle frame on your birthday layout.
Two fabulous cards and not only do I love the image (I love the Wild Rose 'ellies'), but I love the colors and designs as well. You always 'rock' the Twofer challenge!!
Darling was the first word to come to my head, also, when I saw your photos! Such a wonderful stamp and you have done a great job using it two ways!
You chose great sentiments for these cards. The elephant is carrying his envelope with a note and a birthday card and he is adorable. I really like the bright paper on the note card and pretty frame on the birthday card. Great coloring on both.
Bella sure is a darling and what super cute cards, both of them. Wonderful designs and layouts and so very pretty x.
Oh my gosh ... your elephant cards as so sweet, Verna!! Love the first card with the pretty circle pattern background. Great colouring of your elephant and flowers! The second card is adorable with the butterflies holding the birthday wish banner! Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge!
You did it again, you rocked this twofer challenge. Great style and cards.
What a great twofer here with that darling elephant! Love all the colorful circles and flowers on the first and the 2nd is framed perfectly! NJ!
Those images are TOO cute! What adorable cards!
These are so pretty and adorable! Beautiful coloring and colors!
Super cute twofer cards! Gosh I am really behind in commenting. I am so sorry :(
Both are adorable, love the pastels
