New Die.....Had to Try!

Today a beautiful Happy Birthday die from Elizabeth Craft Designs arrived in my mailbox with a prize I won and so I immediately had to try it out. So I made a quick and easy card with it. I love it! I am entering this in the Dies R Us Challenge #13-Anything **NEW**. So my new item is this pretty sentiment die.

This card was so quick and easy to make as I used a stencil from the Sheena Douglas Groovin' 60's collection called Just Groovy to make the background. I went with bright happy colors and then simply die cut the Happy Birthday and added it to the front of my card design. I think that stencil makes up into a very cheery and fun design which to me speaks of a celebration. One could use it for any age and for many celebratory occasions. I hope you like my easy design and it took only ten minutes to make.

Well we got through the last round of snow but more is coming Wednesday again so it seems Winter is going full blast this week. At least the sun is shining today yet. This morning when the sun hit that white snow it just make it sparkle and it was gorgeous. It was a pretty world indeed!

Thanks for visiting and for commenting. I love to hear from you.

God bless,
Verna

Congratulations on the prize, Verna, and for using it in such a beautiful manner and blending a rainbow of colors in your card! There certainly have been wave upon wave of strong weather patterns! We go from above average temps a few days, to freezing for a few days. The poor farmers! This will be my last year for covering most of my plants. You cannot keep them covered when the rains come, and rain always comes before the bitter cold, so it's a constant yo-yoing. Still, nothing terrible to complain about here, for sure! hugs, de

This is so cheerful with the bright, happy colors. I like the confetti look of it and the font on happy birthday is a great one. We are suppose to get more snow by the weekend too. Right now it is raining and most of the snow we had is gone. Plus 40 some degrees today after our cold of nine!

A 10 minute card -- you have to love that! And so fun and colorful! It makes a great birthday card, but, yes, I can see the background for many other things, as well. It almost reminds me of peacock feathers. Wonderful, Verna!
