I put the stamp into my Misti and then inked it up with blue inks and stamped the design onto white card stock. I did this several times to get a fairly good coverage of the blue. Then I took the Life Changing Blending Brushes and added my color into the design. Once it was colored to my satisfaction I then die cut the panel using a MFT Die-Namics Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stacker die. I then placed it to a panel of Gina K. Designs Dark Chocolate card stock before placing it on the white card base. The last thing I added was the Tonic Studios Heartfelt Sympathy die.

PERSONAL NOTE:
Yesterday we had some excitement at our farm. Our dog was barking up a storm and so when my husband went to investigate he saw a young man walking into the yard. He was Hispanic and of course, he did not speak English and my hubby did not speak Spanish. But finally the young man pointed towards the road below our house and then my hubby saw what he was trying to tell him.
His car was on fire. So my hubby and he went with a fire extinguisher to try and put it out but the extinguisher did not work so my hubby then called the fire department out. In the meantime, this man's lady passenger was out in the field far away from the car as she was scared of it exploding. So my husband took both of them into his pickup and they parked far enough away until the fire department came. By the time the department got there the car was fully engulfed in flames. But it sure did not take them long to extinguish the blaze. However by that time the car was a total loss.
And, to top it off there was a small explosion which scared our dog and she ran off to the neighbors home. He was so kind to bring her back to us and of course, keep an eye on all the excitement going on. Another lady arrived to pick up the couple and she and her little daughter could speak some English so that helped with communication.
Anyway that was an exciting evening for us. I am so glad no one got hurt. Apparently the young man was the nephew of the lady and he was teaching her how to drive a car. And they chose to practice on the country roads where there was not so much traffic to contend with.
Well, thanks for the visit. I hope your week is going well.
God bless,
Verna

This card is simply beautiful, Verna. Love the blue with the yellow, a winning combination! Oh my, glad everyone was OK, but what an experience for you all.
Love your card and that cover plate. What excitement you had and great that hubby was able to see the issue and help them. Your poor dog. I'm glad he went to a neighbor and not just off someplace where he couldn't get home.
Great job on that background stamping Verna! And, gorgeous colors! Thanks so much for playing in our ‘Anything Goes using dies from companies carried at the DRU Store’ challenge at Dies R Us. Good Luck and please come back again soon!

Wow! Black eyed susans are some of my favorite flowers. I used to have a whole backyard of them at my old house and really, really miss them.
I'm so glad you joined our "Anything goes using dies carried by DRU" challenge at Dies R Us!
This is a lovely sympathy card, and I love all those pretty flowers! Too bad about that couple's car. but so glad no one (including your dog) was hurt!
Wow, Verna, lots of excitement around your place! Glad no one was hurt! Your sympathy card is absolutely beautiful!
Oh, I see! So it stamps a negative and you can color in the flowers. Well, that's very pretty! I love the blue with the yellow flowers. Nice way to color them, too. Scary business for the unfortunate couple. I hope they had insurance. Your dog had quite a fright, too, poor thing. I'm glad your neighbor took care of him.
Very nice card. Those big stamps are great to work with as they do so much of the card design for you.
What excitement! I’m sure that poor family could have done with out it. That is nice of you and your DH to help them out.
So pretty..love all the sponging...turned out so beautiful! Glad all went well with the fire..that was a lot of excitement.
The card is beautiful... love the colors... that blue with the yellow flowers... just right! And that does sound like an exciting night... thank goodness your house was close by and they weren't completely in the middle of no where!!
Beautiful sympathy card Verna....I haven't checked out IO background stamps in a long time. I do have several but forget about them. Boy it sure sounds like you had some excitement... How sad about the car but so glad no one was hurt. Crazy to think the car caught on fire while the young lady was learning to drive...
