I chose this set particularly as I wanted to add it to the A Blog Named Hero Challenge which is ongoing right now. The challenge is to use something new to me and that would be the Nuvo Jewel Drops I recently purchased. I only got a few colors just to try them and I think I might have to invest in more as they really look nice. But I think I should have had a darker shade either of pink then I did or maybe even gone with a more purple hue.
I stamped the design and sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Then using small sponge daubers I added colors to the design using Memento inks, namely Lilac Posies, Lulu Lavender, Angel Pink, Grape Jelly and Cantaloupe. The Nuvo Jewel Drops I used were the Rosewater ones and they were added last.
Well, for a one layer card I don't think it turned out too bad. And, it was a quick and easy one to do and reminds me of Spring. I hope you liked it as well.
