Anniversary Card

I was so fortunate for my 70th birthday to get dies from friends and I am trying to use some of them to make cards for my personal stash. I have several anniversaries coming up soon so I thought these dies made a nice design for one of them.

The blue lattice cover die is from Cheery Lynn Designs and I added this to a lavender glitter paper.  The cake is also from Cheery Lynn Designs and the bells are from Cottage Cutz. All of these were assembled and placed onto a white card base. I added a sentiment from Gina K. Designs below and also some flowers that I have had in my stash to which I added a pink pearl. I have no idea what company I bought them from anymore. To finish the cake and the bells to make them more elegant I added some Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops.

I am entering this in the following challenge:
Scrapy Land-Anything Goes-Challenge #75

Well since we had a killing frost I decided that hubby should dig the carrots so yesterday was spent scubbing, peeling, slicing and dicing carrots and then freezing them for winter use. That was an all day job and I had to rest a bit before I decided to try some card making. I will share that card in my next post so stay tuned. LOL

Hope you are having a great day and thanks always for your visits.

God bless,
Verna
